In crazy drama that would make a great movie, Jon Cryer has been ordered to pay $8,000 a month to his ex-wife, Sarah Trigger, who reportedly hired a hitman to “off” him. Read more details here!
The “Two and a Half Men” actor had involved in a legal battle for years with his ex-wife, a former British actress, claiming he shouldn’t have to pay her child support because their son doesn’t even live with her because of child-neglect issues.
But one extremely interesting part of their battle includes Sarah Trigger trying to hire her boyfriend to kill her ex-husbands, Jon Cryer and a man named David Dickey.
Cryer married British-born actress Sarah Trigger in 1999, and they had a son named Charlie Austin.
Jon and Sarah divorced in 2004 and the court has reduced Sarah’s parental rights because of neglect reports. But the court feels lowering the child support could have a negative effect on the child, Charlie Austin.
The court explained, “Although, understandably, Jon may have found the situation unfair, the primary focus must remain on the child’s well-being, not the parents’ feelings.”
Sources claim Jon wants permanent custody of his son so he is trying to take away the child support so his ex will finally lose her home.
An insider revealed, “Sarah is already up to her eyeballs in debt and is terrified that she is going to end up homeless. She is fully aware that it will be very difficult to win custody of her son back if she is homeless, something that I’m sure that Jon is more than aware of too. The crazy thing is that it is actually costing him more to litigate against her and the child support than it would cost him just to make the payments! You’re looking at a guy that makes more than half a million dollars a month, and he’s complaining about paying the mother of his child $8,000.”
Sarah Trigger’s attorney, Vicky Greene, also confirmed Jon is taking child support away because he wants her to be “homeless”. She adds that Cryer, “filed a request in November to reduce Sarah Trigger’s child support from $10,000 to $0 but the request was denied by the judge and instead was reduced to $8,000.”
Trigger filed court documents last week, giving a sworn statement about the child endangerment charges involving her other son, Alex, with her current husband. She also admits to leaving Charlie at home alone and says she will not do it again.
Trigger writes: “I have worked very hard to attend therapeutic requirements and finally visitation has been liberalized to include home visits for both of my children, but as it relates to this proceeding, with Charlie. I have done everything I am required to do and beyond, because nothing is more important to me than having both of my children returned to me for purposes of within proceeding, having Charlie come home…I am in financial ruins because of all the fees I have incurred and cannot afford to pay. I am up to my ears in debt. One of the problems I have encountered, aside from the negative publicity and Jon’s stature in the business (I also have been told he is spreading negative rumors about me), is that no one is willing to push my name because I cannot actually commit to work due to my DCFS visitation and therapeutic schedule…I will be forced out into the street.”
